Chapter 311: Scoundrel
"Just take them away mom and Dad, hmmm.... bring them back when we are done spending our quality time together, but for today, for tonight, it’s me and her, minus the kids. Thank you everyone, for your cooperation."
Liam acted like a robot, trying to convey its thoughts and its feelings, making everyone else rolled their eyes. But of course, they were not going to disturb the couple because they understood how much energy and how much tolerance it took for Liam to not see his wife and feel her for nine months! And of course his reaction and his thoughts were completely valid and as long as Jane did not say anything otherwise, then why would they try to stop the couple?
"get laid in peace, Jane!"
Rose casually shouted as they were leaving, only for her own daughter to repeal the same words but in an incoherent manner, making Mother Yang smack Rose on the head because she was teaching her daughter absolutely something that she shouldn’t learning.
"Ouch! Mom. It’s not my fault that your granddaughter is so intelligent. I mean, the Yang genes are clearly dominating, but still, you shouldn’t have smacked me. Look at this. My hair is now ruined!"
If Rose thought that Mother Yang had just done injustice to her, she suddenly felt a pull coming from a small little hand, and when she looked back, she found a Alaric holding a chunk of her hair with a lot of interest as he had nestled himself in Mother Yang’s hands, making Rose want to scream because she couldn’t just get to understand what this young man was thinking.
"Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch!"
" Mom, take your grandchild out of my hair!"
"Oh, please stop being dramatic, Rose. This is your best friend’s son, so of course he’s trying to find the, you know, the connection between you and his mother.hehe...."
Mother Lu used a sarcastic tone towards Rose, making the rest of the crowd laugh as Alaric had let go of her hair simply because he felt like she was being too sassy for him to handle.
Both Mother Yang and mother Lu had decided to go to the young mansion where they intended to stay with the Kids, and of course, mother Lu’s husband followed behind because he was not intending to be left all alone. He equally wanted to play with his grandson and the Lu elders just went back home because they felt tired. After all, they were growing older and older and of course needed to relax their minds. As much as they wanted to play with the children, well, they needed to relax first so that they can have the energy to play later on.
