Liam felt so content the more he smelled her vanilla cologne and the man couldn’t help but feel giddy because this time round he was not sleeping next to her just to accompany her in the coma so as to prevent her from getting bored, because he knew she could hear him, but he was sleeping next to her because she was awake and they were both tired. what an upgrade, what an achievement!
The two were about to just drift to sleep when Jane’s stomach suddenly rumbled loudly, making the girl blush at the same time almost punching herself because she forgot that she had not had food for the first time in a long period and therefore a stomach had to alert her.
If Jane thought that action was regretful, then she was shocked by Liam’s reaction because the man wanted to punch himself so hard. How could he forget about her not eating?
All the sleep that he had accumulated immediately disappeared as he got on his toes, got out of the room and rushed to the kitchen.
Jane had intended to stop him, but the man was equally so fast that she just had to shake her head as she waited for her food to be brought in.
It was a good thing that Liam would regularly stock his fridge and therefore there was enough food in there. He looked at the foods one after another and finally settled on making her some fish, some soup, and some light snacks. In short, everything was meant to be light.
The man folded his shirt sleeves as he immediately started working on the food, checking out the bones, checking and making sure that everything was up to her liking and to her taste.
Liam felt so alive cooking for the first time in nine months, of course he was cooking for his wife, not for his kids, not for himself, but for his wife. He couldn’t help but imagine the situation that was going to be there between his wife and kids, the moment they were going to first meet eye to eye with each other. The man giggled at his thoughts as he finished wrapping up the food that was meant for his wife and immediately started rushing upstairs, taking the food to her.
The moment Jane heard the rushing off footsteps, she could roughly guess that the man was done with his cooking, and she immediately tried stabilizing herself because she wanted to sit up.
After a short struggle, she was finally able to sit upright and she couldn’t help but smile because this is a position that she had missed for a very long time.
She looked at the wires that were connected to her, and she carefully plucked out the one that was meant to pass nutrients into her body, since she no longer needed it.
