Chapter 244: Lapdogs
Anna looked at the couple before her as she inwardly sneered. Her face was full of innocence on the surface but full of malice inwards. She watched as the couple acted all humble and loving towards her, deciding from there that only she will have the title of Mrs Chen and that these two were now no different from her lapdogs.
"It is okay mother, it is all in the past now.. " Her weak voice saddened the Chen couple and she could not help but sneer once again looking at their guilty expressions, especially mother Chen’s. The public opinion was still in her favour so she was ofcourse going to lay low-key right now and deal with Jane and her team low-key.

On the other side of the country, a man sat behind a huge desk as he tried to take in all that he was reading without fainting from anger. "Huh! So someone dares to mess with me?? The thirdd?" His voice bellowed as his subordinates lowered their heads in submission in fear of having their brains blown out. This man was none other than the king’s third, the man who has been aiding Anna and the man Jane and Mary promised to mess with.
The more he read the content of the document the angrier he got. Someone actually had the audacity to blow three of his bases at a go, killing thousands of his men at the same time. He was about to speak out once again when the next page he flipped left his shocked. The content was a simple warning to stop aiding Anna lest he faces the consequences. This letter wouldn’t have scared him if he didn’t see The Reaper’s signature mark at the end of the warning.
The man pursed his lips as his heart beat became a little messed up. Despite the fact that he was the third, he equally feared the reaper since the whole underworld knee this was not someone to be triffled with. He didn’t even have to think about it and chose to immediately cut ties with Anna. The man took out his phone and blocked all her numbers but not before sending her an equal warning since she is the reason he was attacked in the first place.
