Chapter 236: Played in her own game
After Jane and Anna exchanged pleasantries full of fakeness and hidden meaning, the girls separated as each went their own ways, with Anna constantly staring at her watch.
Jane and Mary exchanged glances before Mary gave her a little nod. The two girls inwardly apologized to their men and family as they suddenly excused themselves, each going their own way but having the same plan in mind.
"Make sure you ...." Mary explained the plan to Jane through a text message on what she was supposed to do.
Anna had her eyes on Jane as the girl majestically walked to the washroom and that is when a waitress who is also her minion came to sight, following Jane closely but not too close for her motives to be noticed.
The mistake both Jane and Mary made is that they miscalculated Anna’s impatience and just as Jane finally realized, or should we call this one of their many plots to make Anna see them as currently weak..she was about to call Mary when a piece of white cloth suddenly covered her nose making her lose consciousness immediately.
"We got her boss." The waitress immediately informed Anna earning a word of praise from her, alongside instructions on what to do with ’Jane’ or should I say miss clone? Hehe..
She was about to drag Jane’s body when Mary came out of the washroom, just in time when Anna also stepped in shocking both Anna and the waitress.
"Well well well... This is even better than I thought!" Before Mary could comprehend what was happening, her vision had blacked out from inhaling whatever substance had covered the piece of cloth that went to her nose.
"Tch! So much for being Mrs general! Take them to the base immediately!"
