Chapter 231: Future
"Oh come on mom I know!" This was the fifth time Liam was complaining because of his mother’s constant whining. One could even think Jane was her child and not him!
"Yea Yea! Whatever you say son but I swear if this party isn’t going to be the party of the year, forget about calling me your mother, humph!"
Mother Yang stormed out if the office leaving Liam with a headache as the man slightly massaged the sides of his head.
The party is going to be tomorrow and as far as he knows, everything is set and planned because tomorrow is the day he also plans to officially propose to her. He knows he has kept that issue hanging for long but now was the best time to finally make her feel like the queen she is.
He decided to go through everything one last time before finally leaving the office. He was about to open his office door when someone opened it instead and the strong smell of perfume immediately overpowered him making him sneeze constantly.
"What is it Miss Long?" He internally rolled his eyes but his expression was stone cold making the girl who was trying so hard to battle her fake lashes in the name of impressing him.
"I..I.. I.. "Yes, as usual, she is out of words and making a fool out of herself.
"It will be good if you maintain your distance from me and stay professional ,otherwise...." Liam’s cold voice rang in her ears making her shiver slightly but at the same time turned her on. Yeap, she sure is sick.
"Ye..yes sir." She replied shakily and immediately Liam pushed her out of his way but he didn’t realize that her perfume was now rubbed on him, keeping in mind the fact that it was so strong and that he had slightly touched her.
