Chapter 221: First time
As the Mo couple was having their time, the birthday girls decided to wrap up the event after two more hours of celebrating and giving the people an opportunity to socialize.
Everyone got a chance to congratulate the new mothers in the family, something that came as a surprise to all them as the didn’t expect for Jane and Rose to get pregnant at the same time.
Jane and Liam chose to head back to their penthouse instead of spending the night at the Lu mansion like the rest.
"Babe.. Are you mad at me?" Jane chose her words carefully when she noticed Liam was awfully quiet during the whole ride back home.
Liam looked over at the woman on the passenger seat and just shook his head. His head was a mess right now with all the thoughts about his woman being pregnant and about him becoming a father all of a sudden.
He was busy thinking of the gender of their baby, when he should start purchasing items for their baby and so on. He frowned from time to time but he didn’t realize his actions were being perceived in the wrong manner by Jane.
"Then why haven’t you spoken or said anything to me?" Jane asked back, tears threatening to spill out of her eyes as she tried to hold them back.
"I don’t know about you but I really want this baby, that is the reason why I didn’t use morning after pill on that day but if all this rubs you in the wrong way,, I.. Goodnight Liam."
The moment Liam came back to his senses, he realized he was alone with his woman nowhere in sight but only relaxed when he realized they were packed outside their home.
"When did she leave?" He wondered as he took the elevator to their floor but the problem or rather, mistake was that the man didn’t hear Jane’s last words, heck he didn’t even notice her cracked voice and teary eyes. He didn’t even realize she had called him by his government name!
He got into the house and headed straight to their room but his hand stopped on the handle when he heard sobbings and then her voice followed.
"Baby your father doesn’t seem to like us..he didn’t say a word to us back at the car and didn’t you see him frowning from time to time..he didn’t even hold us back when we left the car sweetie."
