Chapter 218: Welcome to hell
Rita felt like she was about to lose it but she couldn’t let herself go and blow right before everyone. Not after seeing how everyone’s view of Mary changed immediately as they all praised and congratulated her.
She looked over to the waiter who she had instructed her and as if they mind linked, the man looked over to her and slightly smiled.
Rita waited for the right timing before shouting as she once again headed towards the large group.
"Auntie please forgive me for tonight’s mishap. I really didn’t expect it not to be real."
She spoke in a sad tone attracting everyone’s attention before politely bowing down. Mother Mo just smiled as she dismissed the matter.
"Aah Mrs Mo! Congratulations on your pregnancy!" Rita said as she turned towards Mary and Mary only smiled as she inwardly sneered knowing exactly what was coming.
"Everyone! I raise a toast to the future heir or heiress of the Mo family!" Rita said as everyone picked a glass of wine from the passing waiters and well it wasn’t weird that the waiter that passed by Mary’s side had Milk in his tray.
Since everyone was waiting for Mary for them to raise the toast, she picked up the glass of milk and smirked, a smirk only Ian was able to notice.
Rita smiled before raising a toast and everyone drank whatever content was in their glasses.
