Chapter 216: Dangerous couple
To the people who know Mary’s identity, if Liam and Jane were considered a cute couple then to them, Mary and Ian are then considered the dangerous couple.
Calling Rita a fool is infact a favour. She has been going against someone she has never done any research about her and not to mention the fact that none of her plans have been working to date.
Many will argue that Ian and Mary and of course their baby are living a high profile life for a major general and someone who secretly has many enemies but the truth is that none of them ever wanted or rather wants a low profile life.
For Mary, her life was low profile before the coming of Ian’s presence into her life and of course before she found out her real family.
For Ian, he knows, low profile or high profile, any enemy will always try to find their way into his life and he knows very well together with his wife, they were more capable of handling anyone, any enemy perfectly on their own.
Well.. For now that is the case but it won’t be once they both finally get to know who Mary’s father is and the power he holds.
Rita finally calmed down before she headed back to the venue only to find the two hugging each other and everyone whole heartedly clapping for them.
She gritted her teeth before slipping towards the drinking session. Tonight it’s either Ian gets drugged and sleep with her or she drugs Mary’s drink and make the girl lose her baby or as she calls it, ’that thing’ in which, she wanted to do both.
She was so blinded by rage and jealousy that she did not realize everything was just a trap laid for her, waiting for her to just tread on it and well, she did more than just stepping on the trap and everything was according to Mary’s expectation.
