Chapter 210: Next victim
Mary arrived at Jane’s office only to find a grinning Chloe, laughing Nicole and well a calm Lisa. She wondered whether the girls were throwing her out of the group by secretly meeeting without her but before her pregnancy hormones could kick in, she caught sight of two nervous girls, Rose and Jane, holding onto what seemed like..pregnancy kits? Huh??
That was when it hit her but before she could say something, the two girls squealed and tightly hugged each other before screaming out loud.
"Pregnant bestiesss!!!" Everyone else started laughing and congratulating them but Mary cleared her throat attracting their attention to which both Jane and Rose smiled sheepishly while Chloe, Nicole and Lisa greeted her.
"So my pregnant besties are celebrating without me Huh?" She said casually before heading to an empty seat near Chloe and it took some time before the rest finally understood her words, Nicole’s eyes widened as she pointed towards Mary’s Stomach then back to her own self.
"Sis.. Me.. Aunt?" She couldn’t even clearly let out her words making Mary laugh as she nodded her head.
"Oh my God! I am going to be an aunt! Wait, Chloe, Jane, Rose and you sis! Going to become an aunt four damn times woooah!!!" Nicole was genuinely happy for the girls and one could tell from her expression and actions.
After some minutes the girls had calmed down as Mary shared what she planned to do for her mother in law, the rest couldn’t help but smile and some even cheer.
"Guys! What a coincidence! Since mom’s and aunt’s birthday is also on the same day, why don’t we all prepare the same gift for them, of course apart from the other gifts we had for them." Jane suggested and the rest nodded in unison.
"Since we need a trusted hospital for the ultrasounds, I’ll call Ryan and inform him. He for sure can keep a secret." Jane said as she picked up the phone and after a conversation which seemed to last forever for the rest, the brother and sister finally came to an agreement as Jane stood, dragging along her two pregnant besties Ohh and the mother of them all who claimed to miss her man and wanted to come along.
If only Liam and Jordan knew they were in for a big surprise!
