Chapter 126: Your death will be in my hands
Mrs Zhang watched as his car left the compound and she smiled as she headed to her room to change and follow her son.
In the hotel, Peter was sitted nervously waiting when the door to the private room was slightly opened and a woman peeped in.
After confirming she was in the right place, Nicole breathed a sigh of relief and got in.
She was in a beautiful denim trouser, a white top carefully tucked in and a denim jacket. Her designer belt and shoes finished her look as she had minimal make up and her hair tied into a beautiful bun with a few strands loose.
Peter stood up and smiled when he noticed that her way of dressing was complety similar to his. He smiled widely as he extended his hand for a greeting but he was shocked when the girl flinched.
"I am sorry, didn’t mean to scare you, please have a seat."
He spoke up and he watched the girl relax and give him an awkward smile. As a man, he knew what it meant for a woman to react in such a manner that is why he retracted his hand before things could get messy.
Nicole gave him a slight smile as she sat down. She observed the room for some time before her attention finally got back to Peter who was seriously looking at her.
"You seem to be afraid of something. I don’t have the right to know what it is.. at least not now but I assure you that I won’t harm you in any way."
