Chapter 123: Hello reaper
Due to the nature of her other work, Mary has always learnt to be careful with her surroundings and she definitely ended up feeling a pair of eyes carefully checking her out.
The girl inwardly sighed and turned around, staring at Ian.
She almost chocked on her own saliva when she looked at those eyes. She was sure she had met that man somewhere but she couldn’t recall where.
"Mr, If you are done checking me out would you please take your eyes off me?"
She quickly regained her confidence but Ian noticed the little shock on her face and he inwardly smirked, ’She really is the one.’
He stood up smiling and cleared his throat, "Well Ma’am, sorry for that but my parents just taught me to admire perfectly made things in life.."
He said as he extended his arm towards her but he did not know the girl’s mind was not functioning the moment she heard his voice.
Mary clearly remembered the man’s voice when they bumped into each other as she was leaving club X and she was now sure that the man was the same one who intently stared at her while her eyes were still red.
’What if he knows my secret?’
The girl was actually super nervous but couldn’t let it show. What she did not know is that despite being able to conceal her emotions, the man before her was reading everything, even the smallest details.
She looked at him before extending her hand too but Ian pulled her closer and whispered,
