Chapter 44: Lady boss
Liam led them to his room and the Two were left dumbfounded seeing a woman lying on Liam’s bed. The one Liam they both know, the man who hates having people in his personal space! They were now convinced the woman was not someone to be messed with.
Even though they were shocked, they could do nothing lest they provoke the devil himself.
Mr Su proceeded to do some checks on Jane and after half an hour, he stood by the bedside and stared at her deeply as if contemplating on whether he should say what he has observed or not.
"I know that look very well Mr Su, just spit it out." Liam said in a low voice so as not to disturb Jane.
"Young Master, the young madam has more than just a fever. She seems to have a small amount of blood in her body and she isn’t eating well. She also seems to have something bothering her, probably stress leading to fatigue." The man started explaining before Liam could start using his threats.
"And also young Master, please make sure the young madam has had enough rest because she is clearly deprived of sleep. It would also be good for her to visit the hospital for further check ups." The man said as he watched Liam’s expression go from a frowning face to a worried face.
’Miss Lu is definitely my lady boss.’
Dan said inwardly as he watched Liam’s every reaction towards the doctors words. He looked like a worried husband right now!
"Thank you Mr Su. My assistant will see you off." Liam thanked the man but his attention was on the woman on the bed.
Mr Su sneakily took a picture before leaving.
