Chapter 36: Encounter
Jane tried brushing the issue off but her instincts were strongly against it. She couldn’t help but stare at the two again.
Grandpa Lu who noticed Jane had not touched her food and called her but the girl did not respond.
The rest of the members noticed it when Grandpa Lu called her for the second time.
She felt a tap on her shoulders which brought her back to reality.
"Are you okay princess?" Father Lu asked in a worried voice.
It was then that Jane realized that everyone was staring at her that she cleared her throat awkwardly.
"I am fine dad, sorry for being absent minded."
Jane is a person who hates not being sure about something and she knew her inner self would never be wrong.
"Jane, what is the matter? What made you zone out?" Grandpa Lu asked not wanting to drop the issue because he knew his granddaughter very well.
Jane looked at him for a minute and to check whether her eyes were not playing games on her, she decided to ask the question that has been bothering her.
"Grandpa, I don’t know if my eyes are playing games on me but don’t you all see some similarities between Nicole and Rose?"
She asked making the whole family turn their attention to Rose and Nicole and indeed they could see something they have never bothered to clearly look at.
