Chapter 21: Divorce papers
If looks could kill, Jonathan could be 6 feet under.
Jane went and sat on her executive seat. "If you are done staring at me Mr Jonathan please leave my office." Her voice rang out.
"I came to ask you to please tell me where Becca is, she sent me divorce papers which are already signed on her part! I have not seen her for 2 years and right now I do not even know where my daughter Rose stays, please tell me where they are." Jonathan was angry being treated in such a manner but he had to humble himself, the girl before him was no ordinary girl!"
"I don’t know where Aunt Rebecca is and as for Rose, forget about her, you have never bothered to check up on her. Leave before I decide to take action, things won’t be good for you." Jane said as she focused on her laptop.
Before Jonathan could continue, Nicole cane in, "President, Miss Chloe is here."
Jane nodded and in came a beautiful woman dressed in a fitting green pencil dress that was just above her knees and a pair of black stilletos. Her curled chocolate brown hair was cascading down her shoulders freely. Her blue eyes seemed to carry an excitement Jane couldn’t understand.
"Mr Jonathan if you will excuse us." Jane said pointing at the door. Jonathan turned and left but not without giving her a glare.
"Please have a seat Miss Chloe." She pointed at one of the seats and Chloe immediately complied.
"I know this appointment was quick and unexpected but umm..my company is planning a new launching and we need a special guest. You are at the top of the business world, women admire you. I feel you are a better choice. I will be glad if you can consider my invitation " Chloe completed in one breath.
