Chapter 16: Make it work
"Brother Chen." Anna said in a coquettish manner approching Edward. Edward who was busy on his laptop looked up to find Anna, dressed in a tight mini dress looking at him obediently and innocently. ’If only this girl could be clever enough!’ He inwardly told himself but Jane’s image slapping him flashed in his mind. His brows creased as felt his anger rising, ’That damn woman!’ He once again looked at Anna and felt satisfied she obediently stood up waiting for his orders.
His ego felt greately satisfied. His expression became gentle suddenly as he waved his hands towards her, "Come here." Anna obeyed as she was immediately pulled and sat on his lap.
Edward looked at her and asked her why she there. "Uncle and auntie sent me to you. They said that if I can make Jane go on her knees then I can become Mrs Chen." Edward did not say a word and remained quiet signalling her to continue.
"Brother Chen, I know we are not in a good position but can we please try and make this work, I swear I will be obedient and do everything you want me to... "
She did not finish when Edward suddenly put his finger on her lips, "Sshh! All you have to do is stay out of trouble and listen to me." He told her as he looked at her pitiful state. She gave him the vibe of a woman who needed to be shielded and protected.
She was right, they are not in a good position but here words boosted his male ego, something he has never felt while he was with Jane. He was honestly confused but decided to let nature take its course. If she remains good throughout, he wouldn’t mind convincing his parents to make her his wife. He wants a woman who can easily bow to him and obey him. What else could go wrong with Anna? Besides, she perfectly satisfied his manly desires!
He picked her up startling her and led her to his private room in the office. Anna smiled because she knew what exactly was about to happen. She wanted a baby to secure her position as Future Mrs Chen.
The two bodies ended up rolling in the sheets for the entire afternoon.
In the evening, Liam left his project work hanging and drove to his penthouse first before going to the mansion. He had some documents he wanted to show his father that were in his penthouse.
