Chapter 14: Level 4
A snake had appeared, likely around 20 meters long, with a body covered in black scales that looked like they were made of steel.
As it moved along the road, a continuous clanging noise echoed from the friction between its scales and the asphalt.
"Damn, that’s a Level 6 Monster!" shouted one of the students near the snake.
He looked terrified and quickly fled.
Still, the fastest one to escape was Joel, who flew away. Even though he was the one who asked for help, he was also the one furthest ahead when the principal and the others started retreating.
Of course, Liam wanted to kill the snake.
Whoosh!
He flew straight up using his single Phoenix wing, followed by Zombie Paul and Zombie Alice, while the Husky had already rushed ahead, barking loudly at the snake without any fear.
The students following the principal passed by Zombie Alice, and they appeared mesmerized by her—especially Anthony, who didn’t even blink.
But their fascination quickly turned into horror when they saw Alice’s red claws grow longer and easily slice through zombie after zombie in her path.
In no time, Liam arrived above the snake, which glared at him coldly and hungrily, as if it intended to swallow him whole.
