Chapter 12: Identity
It was just that, Liam discovered that the woman had an extraordinary endurance.
The destruction of many parts of her body due to the explosion from his fire dragon hand did not make her die.
Liam could even see her body recovering. Her damaged flesh was regenerating, though not as fast as the damage Liam kept inflicting.
Realizing that he needed to stab her heart, Liam drew his sword.
He coated it with wind to enhance its sharpness.
Shua!
When he thrust the sword into the woman’s chest, he was forced to pull back his dragon hand, allowing the woman to break free.
However, before she could get up, his sword had already pierced through her chest completely.
Her red eyes turned cold, but then lost their light before closing.
The woman finally died, and Liam let out a sigh of relief.
From the strength of her endurance, Liam knew he would have had a hard time defeating her if he failed to land a surprise attack.
