Chapter 18: The Guild House
The sound of carts on the road, and people walking as Malone past them was vivid. At this point, he could hear the voices of the stranger around him, as result of activating his Supernatural Consciousness.
[Maaa... Can I go to Charlie house after I finish scrubbing the stairs]
A boy shouted to his mother, his voice echoing in Malone’s mind, alongside many others.
This house was hundred meters away from Malone yet he heard the voices coming from that place clearly from this far.
But the extension of his senses was not the only gain he got from this.
He can even peer into the minds of others, with weaker will of his own.
[I got remember to pick up bread from Bella on my way home from work]
One gentlemen said to himself, in his mind as he pass Malone down the street.
More voices came, as well.
