The Supreme Soldier in the City

Chapter 625 - 648: Crash

Everyone played on the boat until after ten o’clock, before returning to their rooms to rest. Sunny Nguyen and Gina Lopez had come back too, as they spent the evening with some business tycoons and did not join John Brown and the others in their activities.

It was getting late, so everyone decided to rest. Despite being surrounded by beautiful women, John Brown was alone in his room. He didn’t necessarily need female company, though, so after taking a shower, he watched TV casually for a while before preparing to go to bed.

"Knock, knock..." came two soft knocks at the door.

John Brown smiled, wondering who it might be, and went to open the door. He was quite surprised to see the visitor, expecting it might be Sarah Grandy or Gina Lopez, or perhaps Lucy Campbell and Sunny Nguyen, but had not anticipated Sarah Utah.

"Sarah Utah, what’s up?" John Brown asked curiously.

Sarah was wearing loose casual clothes, with a slightly flushed face, and softly said, "I just can’t sleep and wanted to have a chat with you."

"Come in then," John Brown stepped aside to let Sarah in, then closed the door behind her, "Have a seat."

Sarah sat on the sofa nearby, somewhat awkwardly saying, "Big Brother Brown, I’m sorry to bother you this late."

John Brown handed Sarah a drink, opened it for her, and then sat down beside her, smiling, "I haven’t slept yet either. It’s nice to have someone to talk to."

Sarah took a sip of the drink, held the can with both hands, opened her mouth, but didn’t say anything.

John Brown laughed, "What’s up, being so hesitant? Is there something you’re embarrassed to talk about?"

Sarah hesitated before saying, "Big Brother Brown, I want to ask you... Does Mr. Lopez really tolerate Sarah Grandy and Emma Campbell?"
