More than an hour later, everyone had drunk quite a bit, but except for Thomas Smith, the rest were still in high spirits, so there was no intention of leaving at all.
James Brown’s phone rang at this moment. Seeing it was Sandra’s call, James went out to answer it. He still didn’t want to reveal his marriage yet.
"Brother-in-law, why aren’t you back yet?" As soon as the call connected, Sandra started questioning James. Although her tone was fierce, it carried a charming coquetry that didn’t make one feel uncomfortable at all.
"I’m still drinking, might be a bit later." James laughed, "I promise my leader I’ll be home before twelve o’clock."
"Hmm, twelve o’clock won’t work, you must be back before ten, or else I’ll be asleep. I’m so tired today, my feet are really sore."
"Okay, okay, I’ll try to get back earlier."
"Hehe, I knew you were the best, brother-in-law. And bring us some late-night snacks, alright?"
James replied happily, "No problem, what do you want to eat?"
After chatting for a few more moments, Sandra finally hung up the phone. James shook his head. When it came to monitoring his outings, his sister-in-law Sandra was stricter than his wife Gina. Anyone unaware might think Sandra was his wife.
Just as he was about to go back in, he saw Amy Smith walking over. She must have been returning from the restroom, so James waited to go back to the private room with her.
However, as Amy approached a private room door, a few people walked out from inside. Amy initially sidestepped, but then she exclaimed excitedly, "Alice Brown, Jennifer Hog!"
