Chapter 490 - 499: Don’t Leave
Went out for a bathroom break, after all that beer, it took over a minute to relieve himself. Clearly, John Brown’s kidney function is pretty impressive. After washing his face, John returned to the bedroom. Taking this brief walk, he realized this place must be a hotel, but the room wasn’t a luxurious suite, just a regular room with only a bedroom and bathroom, and the bedroom had only one bed.
"It’s already one o’clock, let me take you home," John Brown found his clothes and prepared to put them on.
Lucy Campbell was lying on the bed and didn’t move, saying, "You know it’s one o’clock, and I’ve been taking care of you till now. I just closed my eyes, and now you want me to get up again. You really know how to wear a person out. I’m not going anywhere."
"You’re not leaving? Are we sleeping together?" John Brown stared, holding his clothes, standing still.
"I’m not afraid, what are you afraid of? Are you really going to assault me?" Lucy shot John a look.
"Well... us staying together, it’s just not right, is it?" John was feeling a bit awkward.
"What’s wrong? I even helped you undress. Come on, why are you so shy with me? Hurry up and sleep, I’m really exhausted, don’t want to move an inch."
John hesitated for a moment, but climbed into bed. Although the alcohol had somewhat worn off by now, his head still didn’t feel great, and since Lucy said so, it wouldn’t be right to say anything more; it would seem he had some bad intentions.
The bed was quite large, John lay on one side, not worrying about accidentally touching Lucy. Just as he lay down, Lucy reached back and turned off the light, plunging the room into darkness. Then came the soft rustling sound of clothes being removed.
"You’re undressing?" John couldn’t help but ask.
Lucy responded naturally, "Of course, gotta be comfortable to sleep."
