The Supreme Soldier in the City

Chapter 384 - 391: Helen Wilson Pressures Marriage

Just before lunch ended, Helen Wilson called and said she had something to tell John Brown, asking him to go to her house.

John wanted to refuse, but Helen didn’t give him the chance and hung up the phone.

After thinking it over, John decided to go to Helen’s place. Although they had a relationship, it hadn’t reached that level of emotion. If Helen could let go, they could become good friends in the future. He believed a good talk with Helen shouldn’t be a problem.

When he arrived at Helen’s house, it seemed she had just come in as well. Her clothes were half-changed, wearing a simple T-shirt on top and police uniform pants on the bottom.

"Sit down, I’ll change my clothes," Helen said, taking her pants off right in front of John and hanging them on the door rack. Her backside was covered by the T-shirt, but her elastic, sun-kissed thighs were exposed without the slightest reservation.

Too lazy to even put on pants, Helen sat next to John and said, "Now that you’ve got a wife, you’ve totally forgotten about me."

John laughed awkwardly, saying, "With a wife, you have to be a bit more careful, or else she’ll get angry."

"Hmph, aren’t you afraid I’ll get mad?" Helen glared at John.

John chuckled nervously and said, "Can’t we avoid jokes like this?"

"Who’s joking with you? I’m telling you, my parents are urging us to buy a house. I’ve already picked one out; just waiting for you to give your opinion."

"What?" John’s eyes opened wide, "Didn’t you say you’d explain the truth to your parents? Why are we buying a house?"
