The Supreme Soldier in the City

Back home, after the three of them had dinner, Charlotte kept chattering about school affairs. Although she was somewhat clinging to James, with Gina around, she didn’t go too far.

At nine-thirty, James grabbed the keys and said, "Alright, you guys go to sleep, I’m heading to bed too."

"Where are you going?" Charlotte and Gina asked in unison.

James lifted the keys in his hand and said, "I don’t want to sleep on the couch again, I’m going to stay at Emily’s place next door."

Charlotte was quite familiar with Emily and didn’t see anything inappropriate with it, but Gina frowned and said, "You’re going to stay at a girl’s house without her permission?"

James smiled faintly and replied, "If you think it’s inadvisable, then you go stay at her place."

Charlotte immediately nodded vigorously, saying, "That’s right, it wouldn’t be bad for Sister Gina to stay there."

Gina was unwilling to agree. If she went over to stay, she would be leaving Charlotte and James alone here. What kind of situation could happen between the two of them then? In the past, whatever James did with other women, she could not control, but now she was James’s wife, and she would not allow him such an opportunity.

In the end, it was James who stayed over at Emily’s house. Looking at the cluttered room, he shook his head; how could this girl be so sloppy? He really didn’t know how she would ever get married.

However, James was too lazy to tidy up for her. He just picked things up to make space on the bed, and by doing so, he ended up gathering a bunch of stockings and bras.

Having seen such items many times, James now had no special thoughts. He threw them all into the washing machine, washed up a bit, then collapsed onto the bed.
