Chapter 308 - 316: Drifting Van
"There are two police cars and two private cars chasing us right now," Helen Wilson warned James Brown as she kept an eye on the vehicles behind them.
James Brown was maneuvering the police van. Although they couldn’t shake off the pursuing vehicles just yet, their pursuers couldn’t catch up either, providing Helen with a momentary relief. However, her brows were furrowed with worry—where could they run now, under these circumstances?
"By the way, can the person you contacted earlier help us?"
"Absolutely, just relax. As long as they don’t catch us now, we will be out of trouble soon."

The van made a right turn at an intersection onto Y Street. James’ eyes were searching, and soon he spotted Lucy Campbell’s Porsche speeding towards them from the opposite direction. The convertible was completely open, carrying three people—Lucy’s bodyguards.
As the two vehicles briefly met, James Brown casually tossed a package, prepared earlier, onto the other car. Both vehicles didn’t slow down, and except for Helen and Emily Jenkins, everyone else failed to notice what James had thrown.
Watching the package being thrown out, Helen felt an indescribable emotion surge within her. It was a piece of evidence she had found with great difficulty, and now it was given away to someone unknown—how could she feel at ease?
At that moment, Emily Jenkins, seemingly unconcerned about the importance of the package, turned to look at the police cars behind and excitedly shouted, "Big Brother Brown, faster, go faster, let’s shake them off."
"Aren’t you scared, being so excited?" James Brown asked Emily with a smile.
Emily giggled and replied, "Not scared at all. These highway chases only happen in movies, and now I’m experiencing one myself. It’s incredibly thrilling and satisfying. Imagine how impressive I’ll look when I tell others about this!"
