The Supreme Soldier in the City

"Brother-in-law, sis, are you guys okay?" As the door opened, Emily Lopez walked in with a giggly smile.

Gina Lopez cracked a small smile and said, "Emily, I’m telling you seriously today, if you like your brother-in-law, you also have the right to pursue him. I, Gina Lopez, won’t oppress you by playing the sister card. If you like someone, you should go for them. I want to defeat you fair and square, so you won’t have any hard feelings later."

Emily Lopez’s eyes widened in shock as she glanced at Gina Lopez and then at James Brown, before scrunching up her cute little nose and saying, "Are you running a fever?"

Gina Lopez rolled her eyes at her sister, annoyed, and said, "I’m giving you a chance here. If you don’t take it, don’t blame me later."

Emily Lopez turned her gaze back to James Brown, who immediately said, "Emily, don’t listen to your sister’s nonsense. She is not thinking straight today."

Emily nodded vigorously and said, "I thought so too. What’s wrong with you, John, what did you do to her?"

Gina Lopez, feeling rather downcast by their tag-team act, huffed and said, "Emily Lopez, this is your own choice to give up. James, let’s go cook."

With those words, Gina Lopez stood up, took James Brown’s arm and pulled him towards the door.

James Brown wanted to pull his arm away, but Gina held on tightly. Unless he used real force, he wouldn’t be able to get away. With a helpless smile, he followed Gina Lopez out of the bedroom.

Emily Lopez shook her head vigorously, feeling that her mind wasn’t working well. Why did she feel that Gina Lopez was serious today? Could it be that her sister had really started liking her brother-in-law?

Upon realizing this, Emily’s face lit up with glee. If her sister really liked James Brown, then the possibility of him truly becoming her brother-in-law was real.
