Chapter 258 - 263 Gina Lopez’s Acting Skills
Ten minutes later, James Brown and Gina Lopez had arrived at Helen Wilson’s house. James immediately introduced them to each other. Gina, with a smile on her face, extended her hand gracefully to Helen, saying, "Hello, I’m sorry for the trouble this time, I deeply apologize, and I hope I can make up for my mistake."
Helen took Gina’s hand and looked her up and down with a bit of surprise, "Is this really your first time meeting me?"
"You met my sister last time, even our parents can’t tell us apart when we are together."
"No wonder you’re twins, you really do look alike. I’ve had my eyes opened. James already told me about the situation; as long as you handle it calmly, I think there should be no big problem."
James interjected, "Alright, no more pleasantries, let’s get the makeup started."
Helen agreed, and told Gina, "Miss Lopez, could you rest a bit while I do James’ makeup?"
"Sure, you go ahead."
Helen immediately started doing James’ makeup. Gina was keenly observing, but after a while, she became quite suspicious of their relationship. While Helen was applying makeup, her hands were moving all over James’ face, which was normal. But her body also touched James from time to time. Especially when she asked James to tilt his head back, she stood right in front of him, her chest close to his face, and when she leaned down, the view down her neckline was probably all visible to James.
Helen seemed utterly indifferent to James’ gaze. If it were all about professionalism, that’d be one thing, but Gina felt that Helen knew that James could see and still didn’t mind. It was impossible to say their relationship wasn’t close.
"This jerk, why does he always have so many women around him?" Helen grumbled to herself, thinking of James’ girlfriend Emma Campbell, his first love Melody Yoody, and now there’s a policewoman Helen Wilson.
Originally, Gina didn’t want her sister to be with James, so she decided to be with him herself. If James was with another woman, it would have the same effect, but now Gina found herself increasingly uncomfortable, perhaps because she didn’t want her sister to lose to another woman, or maybe she was just growing more attached to James herself.
