Chapter 240 - 243 Such a Chat
Leaving Helen Wilson’s house, James Brown couldn’t rid himself of the inner flame that kept burning. Having spent the past couple of days living with Gina Lopez, a stunning beauty right by his side, he could only look but not touch, which already frustrated him to the point of internal combustion. Coupled with Helen Wilson’s provocations, he now urgently needed to vent out his pent-up frustration.
At this time, the most appropriate person to turn to would naturally be his girlfriend, Emma Campbell, but James Brown didn’t do so. It didn’t feel right to arouse his lust with another woman and then take it out on Emma. It was unfair to her, especially since it would be Emma’s first time, and James Brown wished to create a truly special atmosphere, not one driven by mere desire.
Of course, James Brown didn’t wish to go to a bar seeking one-night stands anymore. Having a girlfriend meant he couldn’t continue his old reckless behavior.
Yet the fire raging inside him was truly unbearable. Without finding some release, he feared he wouldn’t sleep well that night. After hesitating, James made a call to Sunny Nguyen.
The phone was answered immediately, and James Brown bluntly said, "Sunny, I want to stay at your place tonight."
Sunny Nguyen obviously was taken aback, but quickly replied, "Would I have a reason to refuse if you want to come?"
"Okay then, I’ll be there in twenty minutes. Go take a shower first." James Brown spoke very directly with Sunny.
In less than twenty minutes, James Brown arrived at Sunny Nguyen’s place. She was only wrapped in a towel, apparently just out of the shower.
Tracing circles gently with her finger on James Brown’s chest, Sunny spoke in a coaxing tone, "Don’t burden yourself with guilt. I’m not going to wreck your relationship with your girlfriend. We’re all adults; we know what we’re doing here."
James Brown’s phone suddenly began to ring. Both of them, caught in the heat of excitement, did not stop. Despite the persistent ringing, it was Sunny who eventually paused, suggesting, "See who it is."
James could only pick up the phone, seeing the call was from Gina Lopez, and said, "It’s Gina, don’t bother."
