Chapter 210: High Five as a Promise
As soon as Michael Johnson left, Austin Henderson and the others scattered as well. With their boss gone, there was no point in risking their lives hanging around—especially not risking their privates for it.
"Hey, don’t run, I’m not done having fun yet," Sarah Grandy yelled discontentedly, but no one paid her any mind. In the blink of an eye, the crowd had cleared out.
The surrounding spectators burst into hearty laughter. Ordinarily, brawls are quite frightening, with onlookers usually keeping their distance. However, today’s fight had been profoundly entertaining.
"That young lady is quite formidable—she made eight guys run away all by herself."
"Could the young lady be the Queen Rose?"
The crowd continued teasing Sarah Grandy, who at the moment looked incredibly adorable, evoking a desire in everyone to be closer to her.
Face flushed with excitement, Sarah Grandy balled up her fists and cheerfully announced, "I’ve just arrived and already put on a show. Those with money, please support me with cash; those without, your presence is support enough. Thank you so much!"
"Wow!" The crowd was taken aback and then burst into laughter once more.
James couldn’t help but smile at her antics, finding the little girl amusing. However, not wanting to draw too much attention, he took Sarah Grandy to retrieve their car.
While the onlookers were entertained, some knew who Michael Johnson was and worried about James and Sarah Grandy. But upon seeing them drive off in a Porsche, they realized that these two indeed had the guts to stand up against Michael Johnson—even Michael himself couldn’t afford a Porsche.
On the way home, Sarah Grandy was still so excited, enthusiastically recounting how exhilarating the fight had been. James just smiled warmly, listening to her stories without interrupting. After all, dealing with a bunch of punks hardly interested him.
