Chapter 177: I’m Furious
"Emily Lopez, you’re a dead girl!" Gina Lopez nearly threw her phone, eyes flashed with rage, and said, "Sister Sunny, let’s go find them."
Sunny Nguyen immediately responded, "Do you know how many movie theaters there are in YODC City and where they all are?"
Gina Lopez was momentarily speechless; all the years she worked in YODC City, she had never watched a movie, let alone knew the locations or the number of theaters, but she quickly added, "I can search with the GPS."
"Then try it."
Gina Lopez entered the word "movie theater" in the GPS and found six. Besides the two in the city center, the other four were spread out. Searching each one by one would definitely take a lot of time.
Normally, if James Brown and Emily Lopez were going to a movie, they would choose the nearest theater, but given Emily’s personality, to keep herself hidden from her sister, she might very well choose one in a more secluded area. And it’s not like they could search every single auditorium like police officers.
This path was unfeasible, which made Gina very frustrated. At that moment, Sunny interjected, "I say, Gina, maybe we should just call James."
"Call him directly? He just ran off, would he really tell us where he is?" Gina frowned.
"If he doesn’t tell, then he doesn’t tell, but you need to let him know you care about him. It’s not just talk, so at least he’ll think twice and won’t act rashly."
Gina felt Sunny made a lot of sense. She was too scared about Emily and James being together, making her anxious and confused. Otherwise, someone of her stature as a boss would easily understand such basic ideas.
She picked up the phone, calmed her emotions, then dialed James Brown’s number.
