Chapter 151: Even Leaders Come to Ingratiate Themselves
At this moment, Lucy Campbell stood up and shook hands with the four men, each of whom quickly released her hand after a brief touch, seemingly afraid to give any offense.

James Brown and Gina Lopez sat together, while Alice Brown and Jennifer Hog took the seats at the very back.
The atmosphere at the table was somewhat heavy, with Lucy Campbell not engaging in much banter or laughter with the others. Even when toasting, it was merely a gesture. Gina Lopez originally took on the toasting, but a look from Lucy Campbell made it clear that continuing to do so would diminish the company’s standing. Lucy Campbell was determined that in dealing with the company, including its employees, they should not appear weak or lowly.
Alice Brown and Jennifer Hog were initially a little reserved, but after a while, they felt that the senior leaders were very approachable that day and gradually became bolder. As hosts, there was no questioning their verbal abilities. Their witty conversation soon livened up the atmosphere somewhat.
