The wedding day!
Early in the morning, after breakfast, Aurora felt troubled about something.
Again!
She wanted to say what had been bothering her for a few days, but felt her heart was too heavy to speak.
When they returned to their bedroom, Aurora somehow caught a glimpse of the back garden where they would have their wedding, and her emotions returned.
Alex saw the change in her.
"What are you worried about? If you worry about the flowers, they haven’t yet decorated the venue with fresh ones. Don’t worry. They will finish all of that before the guests arrive."
Aurora turned her gaze away from the wedding venue and saw Alex with a smile on her lips.
"I’m not concerned about that. But I feel sad because my dad can’t walk me down the aisle. I—"
She feels overwhelmed and unable to continue speaking.
"Oh, Rory..."
