"What in the world are you up to, Lucas Spencer? You claim that person is the continent’s top hacker, yet this report looks like a project from elementary school. No... No... even young students could create something more impressive than this!"
Ryan Spencer slammed the brown map folder hard onto the table, his intense glare directed at his eldest son in a fury.
This is all because of Aurora Spencer. He had already tried to find her to speak with her, but she suddenly disappeared from his reach. He can’t locate her in Opal City.
Even her apartment address in the capital is untraceable. It appears the girl has disappeared without a trace.
If not for his older brother, Willow, who was detained at the police station, he wouldn’t have made such an extreme decision to believe in his son and hire a top hacker to obtain all the information about Aurora.
However, he felt he had little choice but to comply with his son’s idea to find Aurora’s weakness and pressure her into dropping the lawsuit against Willow.
Ryan wanted to punish his son, but seeing him looking scared made him hold back, though he continued to voice his frustration.
"Do you know how much money I waste on a report that resembles something an elementary school student created?"
He paused, his intense stare still locked on his son. After a brief moment, he continued, "...Fifty million! I must sell some of our properties in this city!"
Ryan inhales deeply to steady himself. He must control his anger now, or he risks collapsing and finding himself in the emergency room from a heart attack.
