Rebirth as The Billionaire's Seventh Wife

Chapter 55: He Never Came Home

Aurora didn’t mind if Alex didn’t come home; she preferred not to eat with him.

It would definitely feel awkward, and she wouldn’t be able to enjoy her meal with him sitting across from her. Dinner with Tina made her feel more relaxed.

She could eat while listening to Tina talk about the house and share updates on the other house staff. She was delighted to hear that because she couldn’t meet them directly since they seemed to distance themselves from her.

As Aurora tried to return to her room after dinner, Tina’s voice halted her.

"Excuse me, Young Madam, I just heard some new information," Tina whispered, leaning closer to Aurora. "Mr. Alex’s personal assistant has the same first name as you, Aurora."

Aurora was taken aback, not because of the name, but because Tina had finally heard about her.

’So they’re starting to talk about me?’ she wondered as she continued listening to Tina.

"But sadly, Miss Aurora Moon died in a car accident not long ago." Tina paused briefly to take a deep breath, feeling too sad to recall what she had heard.

"I heard she was still young when she died; her car caught fire, and she perished in the flames. Even though I never met her, I feel sorrow for her soul. I pray for Young Miss Aurora Moon to rest in peace."

Tina genuinely expressed her condolences, prompting Aurora to feel her sadness as she listened. Her hands clenched tightly and grew cold beneath the table, bringing back memories of the tragic incident.

Aurora felt a little sympathy for Tina despite the painful memory of her incident. After all, it was Tina’s beloved Young Miss, Aurora Spencer, who tragically died in her sleep, drawn into the bathtub.
