Chapter 53: Suspect Her
Aurora glanced at Josh without slowing down.
"Did you forget that I’m majoring in Computer Science? Places like this aren’t a secret for computer science students; we know how to find cheaper computers."
"Ah, you’re right. But did you know Nubox doesn’t sell its products to anyone? You need a recommendation from one of their VIP customers," Josh said again.
"Let’s see. I like to see if they reject me," Aurora replied casually, quickening her step. She was also curious whether they would accept her order or turn her away.
Aurora knew she was not Aurora Moon. So, she was uncertain whether she would be welcomed or kicked out of Nubox Junction. However, she had already devised a way to convince them to let her make a purchase.
If they refused her, her only option would be to order computer spare parts from abroad, which would take longer to arrive at her location.
When they finally arrived at Nubox Junction, there were no customers in the store—only one staff member sitting behind the counter.
The shop looked like an ordinary computer store.
"Good afternoon..." the man greeted them nonchalantly, clearly uninterested in making a sale. "Have you ordered online?"
Josh, who overheard the shop staff, felt concerned. He approached her and whispered, "Ma’am, if you need a recommendation, I can call someone from the office to assist you." He planned to ask Alvin to reach out to Patrick to recommend her.
Aurora glanced at Josh, curious about whom he intended to ask. "Could someone help me? Don’t tell me it’s Alex?"
