Chapter 5: Promotion Again
Ling Wu recalled for a moment before she started speaking; actually, the matter was quite simple, and she quickly described it once over.
After hearing what Ling Wu said, Ling Chen frowned tightly. From these matters, he did not notice anything out of the ordinary.
"Did anything strange happen?"
Ling Chen asked.
What Ling Wu mentioned were all trivial, commonplace matters, and it was difficult to clear his thoughts momentarily.
"Something strange?"
Ling Wu thought for a moment and said, "Nothing strange really, except that I was so sleepy last night that I couldn't help but fall asleep several times."
Ling Chen looked at Ling Wu's bloodshot beautiful eyes and felt a touch of emotion in his heart; the girl probably didn't sleep well last night!
"It's okay, you go and rest."
Ling Chen said with a smile.
Ling Wu might be sleepy now, some memories might not be clear, it's better to wait until she has rested well before discussing further.
