Chapter 76: Compromise
Wise spent the next thirty minutes forming a written contract with the dwarf.
Their deal was simple: he would pay for his weapon in full, as well as two of the weapons the girls were going to buy, then postpone payment for others till another time.
Since they would soon be official members of the adventurers’ guild, they could easily sell the monsters they would get from the ruins to the guild. That way, they could earn some money.
In addition to the sword, Torin handed him a bracelet made out of wooden beads that had strange runes engraved into them.
"What is this?"
Torin walked to the door, smiling widely due to how much money he had made in a single night, when he paused. "It is a paired deal with the sword, a spatial storage device."
Wise stared at it in the light. "Really? It looks so fragile..."
He had always wanted to get one, but the thought of it always skipped his mind.
A spatial storage was useful for many reasons, for one, if he had it he wouldn’t have had to mail his things to Domum.
"Thank you, I’ll be back with your payment soon," Wise said as they both left the room.
"Sure, don’t be late or I’ll have you pay double."
