Chapter 49: Taryn’s Place
Following the old man’s instructions, Wise navigated his way through the streets of Teasei until he arrived at the edge of town.
He noticed most houses in this area had number plates nailed onto them for easy identification.
It reminded him of how things were done back on earth, this way, finding someone’s house was far easier.
He walked past a couple of houses until he arrived at the house he was looking for. The house was modest, it had a small compound separated by a short wooden fence.
The front of the house was decorated with flowers that surrounded its perimeter, and an old tree stood by the side, casting a shadow over the house.
Seeing that the small gate was already open, Wise let himself in and walked up to the door.
Knock Knock
Wise waited for some time, staring at the wooded door and anticipating when it would open.
Five seconds later, when he was impatiently on the verge of knocking again, the door was pulled open, and standing behind it was Taryn, watching him with surprise.
"X-Xanthos?"
Wise smiled. "How are you doing Taryn?"
