Chapter 21: Sky Fall
Rawr!!
The night wolf growled and charged right at Wise. As the wolves approached him, each second bringing him closer to an unfortunate end— Wise let go of Taryn, coating her in a barrier or shadows.
"Give me five minutes..." He said, just as the last shadow covered the barrier, leaving a very anxious Taryn covered in darkness.
Woosh!
Wise suddenly disappeared, appearing a second later at the other side of the arena.
’This will take a little getting used to.’
He was using the shadows beneath his feet to accelerate his movements.
A wolf materialized by his side, its wide open maw dripping saliva. Wise blinked from that spot, appearing behind the wolf instantly.
He grabbed the tail of the beast and pulled it, slamming the wolf to the ground with an intensity that caused the earth to cave.
The hole that was dug by its body was soon filled with its blood but Wise was not there to see it.
He was cutting through the arena at breakneck speeds, he felt the wind sending his hair in disarray and his muscles heating up from the speed.
