Chapter 15: Offer and Recommendation
"Shi Jing?" Chen Lian repeated under his breath. For a moment, he was a little taken back.
This momentary paused was quickly concealed as he smile brighter.
"A good name!" Chen Lian exclaimed, then walked forward to pat on Shi Jing’s shoulder.
At the same time, he turned his head toward Fang Zheng and the disciples behind him, his voice cold and irritated.
"This old man has some matter to discuss with this young man, leave!"
Fang Zheng face darkened. Although he was arrogant, he wasn’t mentally crippled.
From the way Elder Chen interact with this no-name person, he had some clues as to what happened.
"Brother Fang..." One of the disciple whispered to him on the side.
This only made Fang Zheng irritated and fueled his hatred for Shi Jing. Without saying anything, he bow to show respect to Elder Chen.
"This disciple will be leaving." He said, then turn his back toward the entrance of the courtyard.
Elder Chen didn’t paid those group of outer disciples any attention, treating it as though they were not worth his time.
