I didn’t have time to think about all that nonsense, as an emergency surgery patient soon required attention.
"Doctor Lu, another emergency surgery, operating room No. 2."
"Okay, got it, I’ll be right there."
From entering the operating room to leaving it, a whole five hours passed.
It was now eight o’clock at night, and it had long since turned dark outside.
Inside the operating room, with the high level of tension, you didn’t even feel hungry.
But once I stepped out, I felt like my stomach was about to cave in from hunger.
The cafeteria was definitely closed by now, and I didn’t want to eat out.
