Chapter 995 The Founder of Blue Moon Trading House
"Has he arrived yet?" Seira asked.
"He's on his way, Your Majesty. Please wait."
Just as Orion's voice echoed in her mind, the gatekeeper's voice rang out.
"The owner of the Blue Moon House has arrived!"
The gates to the throne room swung open, and a man wearing a mask that covered half his face casually strolled in.
Seira and the ministers were surprised to see him.
Many had assumed that the founder of the Blue Moon House was an old man, but they had been wrong. He was a young man who wasn't even thirty years old.
Nolan walked into the throne room without showing any change in expression.
After all, he had been here many times before, so he was already a little bored.
Still, seeing this place again made Nolan's heart feel a little lighter, especially when he saw Seira sitting on the throne.
Her demeanor and appearance were completely different from the mischievous older sister he remembered.
Nolan stopped two meters from the throne before looking up and meeting those pink eyes. They immediately reminded him of his fiancée.
The more I look at her, the more they resemble each other. Could my suspicions all this time actually be true?
His heart raced at the thought. He hoped not. He wanted his fiancée's soul to be inside Rafine's body. At least then, he could still marry her.
But if it were Seira's body—let alone Elina's—Nolan wouldn't know what to do.
He didn't want to hurt his sister, but he also didn't want his relationship with his fiancée to simply fall apart like that.
Calming himself, he placed his right hand over his chest and bowed his head toward her.
"Good morning, Your Majesty," he greeted respectfully. "It is an honor to meet you."
The throne room, which had been silent until then, suddenly erupted into commotion.
The ministers wore fierce expressions, as if they wanted to devour Nolan right then and there.
But none of them dared to say a word because Seira herself hadn't spoken yet.
Seira looked Nolan up and down before giving him a slight nod.
"Raise your head."
Nolan followed her command and looked up at her.
"So, you're Mr. Frey, the owner of the Blue Moon Trading House I've heard so much about, right?" she asked softly. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you in person."
The person who had been hiding in the shadows had finally stepped into the light. It would be a lie to say Seira wasn't a little excited.
"Thank you for the compliment, Your Majesty," Nolan replied with a small chuckle.
The two exchanged a few polite words, keeping things casual as they broke the ice.
Unlike the leaders of other trading houses, Nolan held a very special and influential position.
He controlled a huge part of the empire's economy, so Seira didn't dare act arrogant or haughty around him.
If he were offended, it could cause chaos throughout the entire empire.
Meanwhile, Clarisse, who had just arrived, lit up when she saw Nolan.
"So he's the legendary founder of the Blue Moon Trading House?" she murmured, her heart pounding. "He's actually so young. That's amazing!"
She had always assumed the founder was some old man, but it turned out to be the complete opposite. She couldn't wait to approach him and tell him why she was here.
But the moment she met Seira's icy gaze, the hairs on the back of her neck stood up.
Her courage instantly disappeared like a balloon losing air.
"This woman is getting more and more insolent!" she growled angrily.
"So he's the founder of Blue Moon, is he? He's so young. Far from what I expected."
A voice came from beside her.
Clarisse was startled and turned her head, only to see Isabella standing beside her with an admiring expression.
"What are you doing here?" she asked without thinking.
Isabella glanced at her and smiled.
"I came to take a look. What about you, sister?"
Clarisse wanted to say something but couldn't. Isabella's gaze made her uncomfortable, so she decided not to answer and turned her attention back to Nolan.
"By the way, may I ask you something, Mr. Frey?"
A young minister suddenly interrupted Nolan and Seira's conversation.
Seira's expression darkened, but she didn't reprimand him and simply let him continue.
Nolan glanced at the minister. He was still very young, probably around twenty-nine years old.
This was the first time Nolan had seen him, so he was most likely a new minister.
"Of course. Go ahead."
Nolan didn't refuse.
The minister's eyes lit up. He cleared his throat before asking, "At what age did you establish the Blue Moon Trading House? And how were you able to create so many incredible innovations? Did you come up with them yourself, or… did you steal them?"
The atmosphere in the throne room instantly fell silent. The expressions of the ministers standing beside the young minister changed.
Seira's breathing grew heavier as she clenched her fists. But the minister didn't seem bothered at all, as if he hadn't noticed the change in the room.
Nolan narrowed his eyes and stared at him.
"This guy…"
He could sense the hidden motive behind the question. It seemed like the minister was trying to discredit Seira right in front of him.
It seems even my brilliant older sister has enemies in the government, he chuckled inwardly.
Still, Nolan could understand why. No one liked such a sudden change in power.
The ministers had grown very comfortable under Ragan's leadership. Nolan guessed that Seira must be using an iron fist to keep those ministers in line.
Another possibility was that some of the ministers were already backing other candidates for the throne and viewed Seira as a threat.
Whatever the case, Nolan felt things were getting more and more interesting. He wanted to see how his beloved older sister would handle this situation.
Composing himself, Nolan smiled and said, "I founded the Blue Moon Trading House when I was just nine years old."
Everyone's expressions changed when they heard that.
"N-Nine years old?" the young minister exclaimed. "Blue Moon has been around for eleven years. T-Then, how old are you now—"
"That's right. I just turned twenty," Nolan interrupted.
Silence fell over the throne room once again. No one had expected to hear such a shocking truth.
A nine-year-old had built an entire business empire?
If it weren't for Nolan's status and position, many of them would have dismissed his words as nothing more than nonsense.
"As for the innovative ideas," Nolan continued, rubbing his chin. "Don't get me wrong—I'm not taking advantage of anyone."
He chuckled as he gave the young minister a cold, mocking look.
"Besides, no one in this world could possibly come up with technology like the ones I've developed. What do you all think?"
