"No," Adeline interrupted him immediately. "I want a grand proposal. Until and unless you don’t provide me that... "
She lightly poked his forehead. "I won’t agree."
Alex laughed.
"Yeah, yeah. I understood."

He pointed toward himself. "Instead, you’re using me as a human shield and placing the gun on my shoulder."
Olivia rolled her eyes. "I thought you were supposed to be the bravest among us."
Alex laughed. "You can keep trying to provoke me."
He shook his head firmly. "It won’t work. I’m not helping."
Seeing his unwavering refusal, Olivia could only sigh.
She returned to Adriana and the others, who were waiting anxiously nearby.
The moment they saw her shaking her head, everyone understood the result.
Lucas sighed deeply. "Forget it."
He rubbed his forehead. "If Aurora truly wanted us to ask about it, she would’ve dropped more hints, right?"

Theodore nodded. "Maybe she only revealed herself because she was forced into a corner. She probably didn’t want Adriana to suffer."
