Chapter 185: Choosing
"I suppose you are right. You should know," Borris said with a slight smile. "You are the weakest in your team after all."
Eh? Taking a jab at me now? But Severin didn’t react. He merely nodded his head. "I suppose I should know."
Solari stood up. "There are two options available for you guys. One is the two teams fighting one another at the same time, and the other is to fight one by one."
Borris spoke up immediately. "We are fighting each other together at once. That’s how we are going to do it!"
Severin shook his head. "One against one is the best option. It’s easy to judge."
"It doesn’t matter, right? It’s the last team that remains standing that wins. I imagine that’s going to be easy to judge," Borris said.
Solari stepped in. "Then we would leave it to chance."
He clapped his hands, and the golden bands on them shimmered before two spears appeared in front of him. The spears were long, made of silver metal.
He handed them both spears.
Severin felt the weight and knew it was a weapon only Etherion users could lift. The spears were heavy.
Solari pointed, and in the middle of the arena, high above, a target practice projection shimmered into existence. "You’ll both get a chance to throw. The one with the perfect aim will decide how the team duel will go."
Severin frowned, and Borris grinned.
