"Did you watch the new article and the news?" Kevin asks worriedly as I stride into the company building.
"Yes, I did." I don’t stop or slow my pace. "While I had my breakfast."
I wanted to stay by Erwin’s side since he is still a bit feverish but he didn’t let me. He said that I need to get to work. He doesn’t want to hamper my work. I reluctantly moved from his side.
This morning when I was eating my meal with Tina and Rita, I checked on the updates of the article that was released yesterday. As I anticipated beforehand there will be many news headlines on the news channels on me and Erwin. People and netizens are talking about us. We have become the talk of the town. And I didn’t mind it until then when another article was released and the title was: Leo Snow is filing a divorce.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the title. There was a picture of me entering the lawyer’s office.
I was completely and utterly speechless. I knew people were delusional but I didn’t think they were this delusional. What a vivid imagination they have...
I sigh and rub the space between my two brows where a pinching pain is rising. I don’t get paid enough for this shit.
There is a knock on my door and then with a click the stainless black door of my office creaks open a little. Kevin prays his head inside and says, "Leo, reporters are gathering outside the building. They demand to meet you."
So, we have a problem.
"What do they want?" I ask, not raising my head from the stack of papers piling up on my desk.
