10 fucking pm. It’s 10 fucking pm and this Chinese guy has no intention whatsoever to let me go. He has been doing this ever since the dinner party I held a few days ago. What the fuck is wrong with this guy? Did he not like my hospitality that day? Or did I piss him off without even noticing?

I rumble internally. "Mr. Liu, tomorrow is the party that you are hosting so why don’t we take it easy and be done with the work tonight?" I suggest.
I don’t give a fuck whether you are taking it easy or not. Just let me escape.
Liu Feng opens his mouth to blab shits once again but a call cuts him. "Excuse me." I hurry out to the corner of the room and check the caller ID. It’s Ruth.
"Hey, where are you?" Ruth asks in a husked voice, worry and tension evident in his speech.
"What do you mean where? I am at work. Where are you?" I ask, my brow rising to my forehead.
"I am at your house damn it!" Ruth curses in a low voice.
Erwin is there I presume. And cold sweats form on my hairline, "What the fuck in the world are you there for?! Are you trying to get yourself murdered?" I no longer bother to keep my voice low as I cuss my best friend out. "Why you didn’t tell me earlier?!"
"I texted you a hundred times before coming here!" Ruth retorts, "But you didn’t reply! So I thought you were busy fucking around with Erwin!"
