Married To A CEO. Omega

Chapter 30 - Twenty-Seven

ERWIN

I told Leo about my family a few days ago. I know he wanted to ask me about them for a long time. He surely felt it was unfair for me to know his family but he doesn’t even know my parents’ names. So, I told him only what he needs to know. What the world needs to know. I didn’t tell him about what nobody knows. Not even the police. Those secrets should be locked inside that cramped apartment forever. Nobody should unfold them.

That day when I returned from my school, I saw my dad lying limply on the floor, unmoving. Blood was all over him. It was flowing so ceaselessly that the little living room was overflowing. A tall man was standing beside my dad’s body, holding a fruit cutting knife. He appeared to be still in high spirits from the incident before, so he didn’t notice another individual entering the apartment.

I don’t know what gotten into me that day. When I saw my dad’s blood soaked body lying on the floor, I felt nothing expect just a chill running down my spine. My blood instantly went cold and my heart stopping beating. I slowly approach the black haired tall man. I grabbed the knife in his hand and slid it out from his loose grip. So calmly that I couldn’t even hear my breathing nor my footsteps.

That time the tall man noticed my presence but it was already too late. By the time he could react I swiftly flipped the knife and ran it through the veins of his other hand. Blood started to gush out from the deep cut and a horrified scream filled the room. I stood there the entire time and watched the man howl and shriek in terror while holding his hand to his chest. A devilish smile spread across my face.

After a few moments when his face started to whiten and his voice died down I picked the phone and called the police. I pretended to be scared out of my wits and gave them a brief encounter of the scene. After I cut the call I wiped the handle of the knife clean and placed it perfectly on the man’s cold hand. Then I settled down on the corner of the room and waited for the police to come and investigate the scene.

It’s not like I was immediately out of their suspect list. I needed to act like a mad man and see a therapist. And they investigated the scene thoroughly and came up with nothing since it was a perfect murder. I had cut the vein of his left hand and it was not too shallow or too deep. Since the man was right handed, it was perfect. After some time of investigation the police closed the case.

Through the investigation the police found out that the man I killed was my own birth father. But I felt completely nothing about it. Nobody knows about the crime I committed that day. Nobody needs to know. Not even John and Leo. They are better off without knowing it. Some things are meant to be left in the dark. And this is one of the things that is better off living in the dark.

"We are done." The stylish declares, snapping me out of my past.

"Thank you!" I look in the mirror to observe myself closely. I am wearing a traditional prince attire since this is the theme for tonight’s ball.

Leo once again appointed that stylish from before to get me ready for my event tonight. He is not home now. He had some work to take care of. I am going to pick him up at six and it is already five-thirty. I grab my phone from the tabletop and dial his number.
