Chapter 89: New Era. (Part 2)
Pondering inside of his mind about the previous decision; The Rogue Cadet enters in the Kitchen that is localized behind the bar.
He is starving, needing food to accelerate his Integrity restoration; However, the incessant itchy sensation across his skin and muscles is impossible to scratch off of him.
Inside of the kitchen, there is not even a single Student present; Apparently, they scape by using the exit of the Staff, clearly after fighting their way out, as the location is literally a battlefield.
With no threats lingering ahead, Khallyon moves towards the first thing he sees that is edible and in good state; A few wheels of different types of cheese, which are confiscated by the Rogue Cadet, biting and ingesting the food with hasty desperation, leaving only a few crumbs over the furniture in the following seconds.
The excessive amount of salt in the cheese has augmented Khallyon’s thirst; He fastly grabs a nearby bottle of wine that has a slight crack but manage to remain in one piece; So he removes the cork to drink the content as quickly as possible.
The nutrients received are immediately used by Khallyon’s body, which does not decrease his hunger at all, on the contrary, only continues to increase further and further, making him a little bit too dizzy, so he staggers when he walks away to search for more sustain.
The next thing within his reach is a large jar full of honey, which is quickly consumed by the Rogue Cadet.
He is to engrossed eating to realize that his tongue has become longer, thicker and easier to control, allowing him to lick masterfully the interior of the honey container, leaving it completely empty, almost as if it had been recently washed.
"Is not enough!"; Screams Khallyon with extreme annoyance, throwing away the honey jar, breaking it against a cupboard.
