The Young Man starts reading the content of the Log, and while the pages are full of recipes for drinks, sauces and soups; There are also a wide variety of potions to Recover Vitality faster or Enhance the Production of Åyûrïc Nodes.
However, there are more interesting or funny concoctions, like a potion to turn your skin in an aquamarine green tonality, allowing the user underwater breathing, resistance towards cold and reduce the friction against liquids.

The attached note in this particular recipe, mentions that this was originally a prank, for a Bratty Mean Lady of the Cassaré Family that treated poorly Maidend that produce Milk naturally, like Minotaurs.
