It had been a week since the gang war. Since the bloodshed, the chaos, and the fire. A lot had changed in just seven days.
The streets had gone quiet—eerily quiet. Both the Black Lotus and the Crimson Hand had gone completely underground, licking their wounds or preparing their next move. No one knew for sure. All Liam knew was that he hadn’t gotten a single call from Lilith since that day. Not that he cared.
Right now, all he cared about was keeping his head low—and acing his goddamn finals.
For the past week, Liam had played the perfect role of a regular student. Calm. Focused. Harmless. He’d shown up to every exam, answered every question, and walked out without saying much. Not a single punch thrown. Not a single threat made.
But even as he wrote his answers, his mind never truly left something important.
He had been tracking them. Sam. Kyle. Daryl. Jack.
He watched every hallway they walked, every corridor they passed through, every class they entered. Liam had memorized their routines like clockwork. He didn’t act—yet. He just watched. Observed. Like a predator quietly stalking its prey.
Because he wanted to see how they were spending their last days on earth.
Today was special though.
Today marked his last exam.
And even more important—it was his last day at school.
