The hallway was thick with tension, the air almost suffocating as the remaining thugs stared at Liam in shock.
One of them—his face pale and his hands trembling—suddenly pointed a shaking finger at Liam. His lips parted in horror as he stammered out in disbelief.

Whatever words he wanted to say never came, because the very next second, he lunged forward with a roar.
